Christopher Hartop offers a complete service in buying and selling for private collectors. We can advise on auction purchases and execute discreet bids on your behalf. We also specialize in collector-to-collector sales. Below we include a selection of objects we have sold to private collectors recently.

A Louis XVI Gold and Enamel Snuffbox
by Charles-Alexandre Bouillerot, Paris, 1778, one of a collection of 38 gold boxes acquired by an American private collector in 2002.

George II Silver-gilt Cup and Cover
Thomas Heming, London, 1753
Acquired recently for a Canadian collector, this cup appears on Thomas Heming’s trade card and is the mate to one in the Victoria and Albert Museum
